Fashion right now is in this really interesting place where anything goes. It's a weird pocket of time that can't really be determined how long it will last. It's a weird trend where it's best to be off trend. Think of the worst of the worst, the biggest don'ts, and wear those. Fashion right now is the opposite of obvious "fashion". And I'm absolutely loving it, because it's complete and total freedom. The most off things are the most right things. Of course, classic fashion will always be there, there are huge nods to the nineties still and the sixties and seventies. But it's in a way that too perfect is too much. Think bad nineties influences. I called this a while ago when I said the ill-fit jean would start getting popular and what do you know, mom jeans are the #1 jean of the moment. I just get bored with the typical. I like wrong. Wrong is so, so right. So pull out the shit that's at the bottom of your dresser's drawers and wear it. Complete freedom, stop thinking so much.
