Hi to those that are looking

Just posted the photos I took last night. I know it's been a lot of me but that will be changing soon enough. There's something interesting in doing shoots of yourself. It's more difficult and somehow easier in a way. I am the one setting up the backdrop, positioning the camera, posing my body and face, dressing myself, hair/makeup, timer, lighting, no control on exactly how the picture looks but also full control of the model yet blindly. And then the editing, every image is looked at so closely a million times, cropped twenty ways till it's perfect, everything adjusted from light to shadows to tones. I guess what I'm trying to say, is when I end up with photos I truly love and are perfect to me, I'm impressed with myself and the work I've put into it. So I think there's something special about photos of yourself. I also just get very bubbled up with ideas and inspiration towards the end of the day sometimes, and normally I'm all I have to use. Had Panda Bear's album, Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper playing during it and it served a really great mood. I suggest checking it out if you haven't yet.
