Homecoming

 Gloria took the train down so we could do a shoot before I had to go into work. There wasn't too much of a plan or idea but I started feeling this light blue and white vibe. And with a little styling and my girls continuously progressing modeling skills, I got some of my favorite shots I've taken. Best Coast and The Teenagers were playing in the background. These days rule.

Urban Room

Nothing is making me happier than having my best friend in town. Finally being able to see each other whenever we want reminds me of the good ol' days. Here are some random shots from us hanging out post her photo shoot which are about to be up! We placed, and replaced, and placed again all the paintings that I've done in my room all around to try to get a nice photo of them all. I felt like a proud mother with all the things I've worked very hard to make. Happy Wednesday <3

 

Summer Days

 

So! I had an idea for a shoot of myself with of course, my lovely friend Gloria who finally is here for more than a wink of time which makes me very happy and my camera happier. The two of us plus my boyfriend, Andrew, all collaborated on a day in the sun together that turned out very differently than I envisioned since the rooftop we always could access now has a sawed off ladder and installed cameras, which sucks but led us to an under construction pool. But we played around with him mostly shooting, us modeling and styling, and now finally, completing editing.

Fraggle Rock

 

In Greece or something with my best friend, most of these are me oddly. I do have to say I enjoy being the photographer more than the model but it's not too bad when your boyfriend is behind the camera. But definitly excited to shoot Gloria while we're both still here!

Limited palette

So I take it I'll be spending my summer days in a small palette consisting of white tones, classic blues, and black. I picked up a few good things recently, a couple tops, the perfect short-alls, and who knew Forever 21 made good jeans. Great jeans actually.

I got this great little top from Forever 21, unbuttoned with no bra, it's perfect with jeans or a skirt.

Both the jeans are F21 under their Premium Denim line, which offers way better quality denim than their $8 jeans, these feel like true denim and come in the perfect high waist and "mom" jean styles.
