Got the roll developed from my time with Gloria. Some needed to be edited due to the bright light, here are my favorites. And just dropped off another one today. Wahey. I'm digging the dreamy suburban-ness of these.

Miami Project Day 1

I decided to go down to Miami for my day off and spend it driving and walking around listening to London Grammar and Lana Del Rey working on some sort of photo project with the place as my subject. I walked around aimlessly just looking for things I liked and eventually stuffed my face with Sbarro pizza. I like Miami cause I like any place that makes me feel different. It's like when you travel and you just feel different than how you do everyday where you live. And if I can get that with a pretty short drive then I want to take advantage of that. So, I wanted to work mainly with film cause I'm predicting that's the best way to shoot the colors of Miami. You really don't realize how much greenery is there until you're staring so closely at it bouncing off the white and pastel building backgrounds in every photo. I definitely think I shot some quality stuff, almost a full roll. But it'll be a week to see the results. So these are random digitals I took of stuff I didn't want to use film on, many times through my dirty car windshield. My apologies. And few of these are edited on Picasa and some are not.

I didn't go to Miami today, so I laid around my house and took photos.

And you can never be too far from yourself.
