Hello,

To my Our Kind family who chooses to come here to check up on my art and creation diary. I'm feeling super driven and inspired to give my all into my art. Churned out a couple paintings about a week ago and have a notebook rapidly filling of photography/painting/fashion creation ideas. Also have big plans to change a part of my living space and discard this old piece of furniture.
Creative juices they are a flowing and the focus is steady.

#Motelscape

Artists Signe Pierce, Marina Fini, Sierra Grace, and Sydney Krause put on this bad ass installation at Miami Princess Hotel where a hotel room was turned into a total dream. It was easy to take beautiful pictures of this place and I got a special feeling laying on that bed.

my favorite shot from the night

Connan Mockasin @ Bardot Miami

Connan Mockasin played a show Thursday night and it was such an intimate setting and a very groovy, sexy vibe. Ended up sitting with them on a couch where I asked Connan for a picture with my uncomfortably bright flash equipped camera. It was swell, they're swell Kiwi guys. And they played Forever Dolphin Love in their little encore <3

Downtown Rooftop

Wynwood is a special place

Bye bye, puppy.

Window Sill Playlist (Edited)

I have a favorite genre of music that I like to call, "Girl sits next to window in New York City apartment listening to record player". It's calming, inspiring, soothing, and cool. And for me, it's my go-to when I'm not sure what to listen to or I'm sitting by my window...listening to music. It's got a 90's feel to it always and a female singer. Here's a playlist for you and I to go to when you need something.

Shiny on the Inside- Leona Naess

These Days- Nico

Common Burn- Mazzy Star

I've Got a Feeling- Ivy

Five String Serenade- Mazzy Star

You Know- JJ

Don't Know Why- Norah Jones

Epic Aid Voyage-Submarines

Boys with Girlfriends-Meiko

Until We Get There- Lucius

Put Your Records On- Corinne Bailey Rae

These are my go-to songs, they make me feel like an independent woman, in the city, and it's raining.

Drips of Wine

I'm constantly in and out with things, wine color is one of them. Sometimes I'm so tired of it in fall and other times like now, I'm finding a lot of inspiration in it. I'm absolutely in love with the top left image and have been for a while. The shyness and coolness of the "effortless" outfit. It's perfect. And crop kick flares, never thought I'd be drawn to those. And yet I'm coveting the corduroy Pilcro pair Anthropologie is selling right now. That's just how fashion works. Just a little warm, Fall inspiration, especially as today is the first chilly day we've had. Shop below,

Never a shortage of living space inspiration
